![]() ![]() ![]() I'd love to hear about your experience with the catch can on previous cars, and why you chose to install on the Miata. Track Dog ECU relocation and my hot lava Raychem covered grounding strap/wire. This is a modified Peterson Fluid System breather can. I still have to move the power steering reservoir once I get the proper hoses. I love that Track Dog sends their instructions on a USB drive. Also, the ECU relocation bracket from Track Dog Racing arrived and I had time to get that all mounted up. I ordered a riv-nut gun so when it shows up I'll finalize the mounting of the OAS. I've got the OAS mounted and semi mocked up so I can start mating hoses and fittings. Not a lot left I can do until the Fab 9 kit shows up. Hopefully this will help provide some information as to what will work and what turns out to be complete failures. Never see them on Miatas though.Īs the days pass, I will add more photos and little reviews of the parts I am using. Oil cooler - considering a Laminova setup. New exhaust - I'll build it with a vibrant cat and some sort of quiet mufflerįlying Miata V8 radiator is the top of the cooling list right now Goodwin Race Single Exhaust - no midpipe or header Stock bars - Whiteline bars sitting in the garage with endlinks Fab9 6758 or 7163 (still on the fence here), clutch, tuning, radiator, oil cooler, battery relocation etc. I haven't been able to make any changes since this time due to work but there are big things ahead for the coming months. It only has 30k on it now as it has been a really busy time at work lately. It's a 2013 club which I purchased in June 2016 with 27k on the clock. It serves dual purpose as a weekend windy road toy and track day funster. I chose this car because " the answer is always miata". Wanted to start a build thread so I could keep a log of this build as well as share information with other enthusiasts. ![]()
